​​​​​​​Sandra Rose, MD

Sandra Rose, MD, is a neurologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of seizures and epilepsy.  Dr. Rose is highly skilled in both the medical management of epilepsy and the use of surgery, including newer minimally invasive techniques, and neurostimuation devices for treating patients with medically refractory epilepsy.  She is also especially interested in the care of women with epilepsy and the care of young adults transitioning to adult care.

In addition to seeing patients in clinic, Dr. Rose is a neurophysiologist and is skilled at interpreting various testing modalities such as EEG and evoked potentials.  She is the director of the intraoperative monitoring service, providing important neurophysiologic data to surgeons during complex procedures to aid in preserving neurologic function. 

Dr. Rose is also involved in education of medical students, residents, and fellows.  She acts as the director of the epilepsy fellowship program and coordinates the training of new epilepsy physicians.
