The Neurology Department Welcomes Dr. Tracey Fan!

The Neurology Department is thrilled to introduce Dr. Tracey Fan who is joining our Section of Neurocritical Care as Assistant Professor and Neurointensivist faculty. Tracey recently graduated from her fellowship training in Neurocritical Care at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She received her medical degree from Touro University in Nevada and completed her neurology residency training at Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

Her research interests include understanding the mechanisms of acute brain injury in patients with mechanical circulatory support devices, sepsis, and ARDS and developing protocolized neuromonitoring, prevention and management strategies for the neurologic complications in these patient population. Additionally, she is also interested in understanding the interconnection between the brain and other organ systems, and the mechanism behind these non-cerebral complications following acute brain injury.
