Overview

A visiting professor will deliver a special seminar before the symposium and will serve as the judge of the presentations. The awards will be distributed at the Residents and Fellows Graduation Banquet.


Guidelines

  1. All Adult and Pediatrice Neurology Residents (PGY-II, PGY-III, PGY-IV) and all Fellows will participate.

  2. Participants may choose to present a poster (the poster must meet the assigned size requirement of 36" x 48").

  3. Participants may elect to present a 10 minute Power Point presentation followed by a five minute discussion.

  4. The poster or presentation could involve:

    • Basic Research;
    • Clinical Research; or
    • A description of an interesting patient with a review of the literature.

  5. Residents and Fellows should discuss possible topics with their mentor and/or Christopher M. Gomez MD PhD, Raymond Roos MD, Helene Rubeiz MD, Un Jung Kang MD, or Brian Popko PhD.

  6. Participants must submit their presentation title to Marla Scofield no later than April 30, 2009.
