Clinical & Research Interests
- Dr. Fernando Goldenberg is a well-respected specialist in critical care medicine and Neurointensive care. Recruited to the University of Chicago in 2002, Dr Goldenberg brings tremendous experience, skill, and depth to the Department. In addition to his strong reputation as an outstanding clinician in the field, Dr. Goldenberg has been involved in a wide variety of provocative research endeavors. While he is involved in a number of important research projects, his most recent scholarly focus is on intracerebral hemorrhage and mechanisms involved in the pathophysiology of sodium disorders in patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage.
