V. Leo Towle PhD - appointed American Society of Neurophysiologic Monitoring President

The Department of Neurology would like to offer congratulations to Professor V. Leo Towle PhD who has been named president of the American Society of Neurophysiologic Monitoring.

Dr. Towle is Professor of Neurology, Surgery and Pediatrics; Technical Director of the Intraoperative Monitoring Service; and the Director of the Clinical Evoked Potential Laboratory.

The American Society of Neurophysiologic Monitoring is a national society related to monitoring the status of the human nervous system during surgical procedures. The ASNM currently has about 500 members across the United States and serves the professional needs of physicians, scientists and technologists in the field of intraoperative monitoring, with the ultimate goal of improving patient care.
